so im deciding between penn and cornell for engineering undergrad.
then i think i wanna go to law school.

if i want to get into top law schools (harvard, yale, ect.) what kind of GPA is expected coming from engineering? which school (penn or cornell) would be more respected when applying to grad school (assuming i maintain a good gpa)?

top law school has average GPA of about 3.7ish or so... you can check ur specific one at princetonreview. Engineering tend to have lower GPA so you'd fall around the 3.6 side instead of the 3.8 side. But if you really want to get into a good school, your LSAT is going to be alot more important (than say your SAT when applying to college). Engineering school wise, Cornell has probably one of the best engineering school in the ivy league...it all depends on the major too. Are you thinking about doing intellect property law?

If you could get the same grade as both then I would say Cornell. It has the best engineering program in the entire Ivy League. Are you looking at a certain engineering major or focus? Do u have ur aid packages yet? Have u visited both? Congrats on getting into some great schools!
