Penn people HELP ME!

Hey guys.
I am applying to UPenn ED
My GPA: 4.33 (weighted) 3.94 (unweighted)
SAT: 2180.
SAT II: US History: 740, Japanese: 800, Math IIC: 800, Chem: 750

I have decent ECs (actualy some of them are pretty gud).
Do you think i hav a shot a Penn?
Some people are telling me that my SAT score is bad... do u think it's gonna hinder my chance of getting in? (my reading is really low... 640)

what’s your class rank?

I dont think your SATs that bad, its a little bit below average but not by much. Your SAT IIs make up for it pretty nicely. If your class rank is at least top 10%, I’d say you have as good a chance as anyone else. Good Luck.

Your SATII will only help you if you’re not Japanese

Would you mind listing some of those ECs? It’d help to see what you’ve done. Also, any hooks (URM, legacy, etc)? Right now I suppose you have as good a shot as anyone, but it’s still a reach. It is UPenn after all!

so his 800 in Math 2, 750 Chem, and 740 in US History don’t matter?

740 in us history isn’t that spectacular

as good a chance as anyone else. Focus on essays.

740 on his History is nothing vs my 660 on my SAT II lit.

thank you guys.
and yes. I am definitely in top 10%. In fact, i think i’m in top 4-5%.
The problem is… my school doesnt rank… so yeah. that’s a bummer.

Some of my significant ECs are…
President of 2 clubs (service and math), Participated in a soundwave research with a professor at UCLA for 14 hrs/8 weeks.
and some awards such as AP Scholar with Distinction, National Merit Commendation, Reigonal math competition 2nd place, and regional clarinet concerto 2nd place.

I took Calc III class over the summer and my courseload really shows that i am a math oriented person. So i am gonna apply as a math major.
