Penn Preview Days

Is it okay to miss out on Penn Preview Days? 8, 9, and 12 are kinda short notice for my family and me and the next set of three days surround a busy weekend.
Also, will Penn accommodate a visit later, say from mid to late May?
Also I was invited to an academic program (not one that I could apply for) that I'm interested in actually doing so does that make it more imperative that I visit?

I would call and ask. A visit in mid-May?!
Are you prepared to make your decision before you can see it?
If so, you should watch Penn Videos on this website and on youtube. they are very accurate.

&&&
does anyone know if penn gives travel waivers for admitted students??

Keep in mind school is over mid-May

I agree with Fighting Quaker.
By that time you should be getting ready to fly down there in September.

go watch the youtube videos. they give a very accurate portrayl of the school/campus/surrounding areas

Oh wow that was stupid. Finals are in early May haha.
Yeah I think I’ll be fine without an early preview…I don’t have that many choices between colleges and I’ve been to Philly (I guess that’s not an excuse to skip out on a college visit but w/e). I’ll check those videos out, thanks.

Actually I decided to go to one of the Preview Days. Problems solved.

You should go. If you don’t have time, make time. Videos only get you so far. You need to experience locust walk :)

^ If are going to experience Locust, DON’T do it with a tour group…it’s much better to see if you flow with the students and whether any of the advertised events float your boat. At least when I flyer, I don’t even bother sometimes if I’m tired and I see a tour group coming.
