So I did not get into University Park campus at Penn State and I have an option of 2+2 program by Penn State…I spend 2 years in Altoona campus and 2 years in University Park but then…would It be hard to mix in UP after 2 years since I’m also an international student …pls let me know how Altoona campus is and if it’s a good choice or not
Altoona is the closest campus to UP, so a lot of students visit up there and it’s easy to get to UP for football games etc. It’s a very pretty campus much much, much smaller than UP obviously. 60% of all Penn State graduates start at a branch campus - so going to UP after 2 years will be no trouble at all academically. And socially, nearly everyone you start with at Altoona will also be going to UP after 2 years. Good luck!

I’m curious where you got this number. 30% of students in the College of Engineering start at branch campuses.
