Penn state abington to university park worth it?

I am a Biology major looking forward to med or dental school.
should I do the 2+2 program: Abington to University Park. Is it worth it? will I get lost when I get to University Park? why should I go to Abington

please help

Abington. Yes, abington. Especially if you are thinking medical school. Curriculum is the same, but instead, you will be one of 30 kids in a class as opposed to 1 in 400. Seriously, my daughter’s physiology class has 600 kids in it so there no hand holding or help from the professor. It’s TAs all the way in those mega weed out classes. If you want med school, you really need a 3.5 GPA+ which you aren’t likely to get going to UP first if you are already on the bubble. Just my two cents.

Are you in-state or Out of State? What are your other choices? Would you like to live on campus or would you be commuting? What’s your budget?

I am a out of state student from maryland. I would like to stay on campus. My budget is from $9,000 to $15,000.
Has anyone heard if Towson university and know if its good for biology?

Have you looked at PSU Abington’s costs? They are way above your budget. Have you run NPC?

Towson U is a big well-known state school in Maryland. I would bet that it would be cheaper for you if you are in state.

Towson would be much better for you indeed.

I still don’t know how much financial aid im getting from psu, but psu abington cost about $21,000.

You’re an op’s applicant: expect no financial aid.
