Hey everyone! It seems like most people here are interested in going to ivies and other elite schools. I'm more interested in state schools because of my grades, SAT scores and just because I love the feeling of a huge school.

I'm a junior and right now my top two schools are Penn State and University of Maryland...what are my chances of getting in?

weighted GPA: 3.93
SAT I: 700 writing, 620 math, 530 critical reading, overall 1850. (I hope to really improve my scores when I take it again, especially in c.r.)
SAT II: I will be taking Math I and Literature

Courses-
Freshman: Geometry Advanced, French II Honors, Biology, English I, World History, Intermediate Band, Intro to Journalism

Sophomore: Algebra II Advanced, French III Honors, Chemistry Honors, English II Honors, US History, Advanced Band (highest possible band in my school), Journalism I

Junior: Pre-Calculus Advanced, French IV Honors, Physics I, English III Honors, US History part II, Advanced Band, Journalism II (this involves being a copy editor for my school's award winning newspaper)

Senior year I will take: AP Calculus AB, French V, Study of the Environment, AP English V, AP Psychology, Advanced Band, Journalism III (I will be co-editor-in-chief)

Extra Curriculars:
National Honor Societey
Over 50 hours of Community Service for various causes
Key Club (will be secretary next year)
Volunteer as a Youth Minister at my church (I teach religion classes and organize retreats)
I have played the oboe for 8 years and am in the highest band
I am a competitve rower on my school's crew team (I will be captain next year)
Club soccer for 11 years
Have attended a highly accredited journalism camp for the past two summers and will attend again this year.
This summer I was also invited to participate in an intense journalism program in Washington DC

So that's what I have to offer these schools. I am not crazy about my SAT scores, but I am confident that they will greatly improve the next time I take them because I am now going to a private tutor. The thing that I am most worried about is that I will not have taken any AP classes until my senior year. I have taken honors classes, but not AP. I am worried because my school offers a lot of them, and I stupidly didn't decide to take them until senior year. Is that okay for schools like Penn State and U of MD, or am I pretty much screwed?

Please be honest with your answers. Thank you so much!
