My biggest worry is that I am out of state will that affect me alot? Also I know PSU puts alot of important into gpa and mine unweighted isn’t that strong. I love architecture and can’t imagine doing anything else I have sat in on numerous meetings with an architect and I take a drafting class this year and it is great so far. I never did make a portfolio in High school because I never had time in my schedule to fit art classes. This narrows my options for college down to a select few. Penn state is my dream school and want to get into the program so bad but I hear they only have 70 kids per class. Doesn’t that mean they only accept 140 applicants? Does anyone know how many students apply to architecture? If anyone could give me any information on the acceptance rate and whether I have a chance I would much appreciate it.

According to Penn State’s admissions website, they treat out of state applicants the same as in state. They want out of state because they provide much more revenue.

I would just warn you to research the job market for architects. It has been really bleak the last couple years, and I am not sure it will be great in 4 years.

I’m told that Penn State has a really great architectural engineering program, but that it is extra difficult to get into.

Sorry SAT is a 1930 i put the combined score of my old one.
