i had an EXTREMELY TOUGH TIME adjusting to my new school and i didn't do to hot.

i was a weak student but now that i am in senior year, i am focused and back to my old self.
my grades include (will change by early november):
sat: 1860 (projected 2300 minimum. working really hard to bring my scores up)
sat2: penn state doesn't look at them.
UW GPA: 3.01 ( OUR SCHOOL DOES NOT WEIGHT ALTHOUGH I HAVE TAKEN ALL THE HONORS/APs FOR MATH AND SCIENCE available)
ECs: 50 hours of hospital volunteer work (will change also: doctor shadowing with a cardiologist all weekend till late october).
clubs:
mathletes 4 years.
fbla 4 years.
eac 2 years.

also one question: since my school does not weight, am i at a huge disadvantage? or will penn state weight my gpa for me?

don’t be expecting a 2300+… it just won’t happen no matter how hard you try. A 400+ increase is HIGHLY unlikely. Sorry, but just being honest. Just get higher GPA first semester of senior year and then raise to the SAT to 2000 (A more reasonable goal). As Penn State is rolling admissions, you can send in stuff as the year progresses.

But in a highly unlikely scenario: you do get the 2300+ then sure, you’re in.

well i am going to push for that 2300. i studied all summer and managed to go up 400 points already. i think can pull off another 100. i really wanna get in .
