High School Type: Its not the best but it is definitely top 25 in NYC.
Major: Pre-medicine
Income: 80,000 (I have 2 older sisters who are both in medical school)</p>

<p>My ACT score is 33
MY SAT score is 1900 but I'm not going to send it.
SAT Subject tests: Math 2= 750
US History= 730</p>

<p>School doesn't do ranking but I'd be top 10 percent of my Senior Class (900 people)</p>

<p>unweighted GPA-9th grade: 3.7 weighted- 4.0</p>

<p>Special Program:
I'm in a special program in my school called Carl Sagan. Its a Math and Science program, ranked 1-2 in NYC.
I went to a city competion from thousands who applied.</p>

<p>Sports:
Varsity Volleyball 2 years</p>

<p>Recommendations will be from my AP Biology teacher. I'm very chill with him. My other recommendation is from my Spanish Teacher who I'm best friends with. She also works at a Community college teaching spanish.</p>

<p>The reason I say that is that I saw the admission stats for Bronx Science High School last year, which is probably similar to Carl Sagan, and almost everyone who applied to Penn State got in, and your stats certainly qualify you for admission.</p>

<p>(Strange that your ACT is so much better than your SAT).</p>

<p>I think you will also get into Michigan, GW, and Northeastern.</p>

<p>The comment I made above regarding Penn State and Bronx Science also applies to Michigan.</p>

<p>With respect to the other colleges you mentioned, hopefully they won’t treat you like an “over” represented minority. </p>

<p>The reason I say this is because I have a friend whose son (Indian) got rejected at some schools you would have thought he would have gotten into (he had a 740 on his math sat, and went to a top private high school in San Francisco), including every Ivy he applied to, and Berkeley and UCLA, and even Boston College.</p>

<p>Since you seem to be medical school bound, how about also applying to Rice University in Texas???</p>
