What major did you apply for?
@LM3232 psychology!
I’m also a non-resident, as I live in CT (and I applied EA)
@am2727 from reading this thread for the past three years. I don’t think you will have a problem gaining admission to Penn State. D19 also applied for psychology 4.0 30 ACT. Good luck!
@SAD1010 thank you! You definitely calmed my nerves a little bit!
Yes, you’ll be fine. Your stats are above average for University Park and the college of liberal arts (where psychology resides) isn’t quite as difficult to gain entry as Smeal college of business, nursing, or engineering.
@am2727
I hope you get in. You’re stats are similar to my son’s. Not sure on the GPA conversion to 4.0. That’s been driving me crazy this whole process. Especially when a 92 is a B at his school and an A at others.
He’s applied EA to Smeal. We are OOS from Maine.

@mamawitch thank you! I hope your son gets in too! From what I can tell, it seems like he has strong stats above penn state’s average! I’m sure he’ll be accepted! waiting for an admission decision is just super difficult and stressful
You shouldn’t have an issue as a Psych Major. You will get in
