Hello! I am a first year applicant. I submitted my application in mid-late December, I believe. Does anyone have an idea as to when I should expect to receive a decision? Also, will Penn State notify me when my decision is ready?

You will have to check the portal. They will not tell you otherwise when a decision is posted. If you don’t see the porta, they also mail you your decision in the regular mail a few days after the portal posts. Most students who applied priority have still not heard yet and they can expect to know by January 31st. Since you didn’t apply priority and applied in December, PSU says that you will hear no later than February 28.
