Congrats! Did your daughter put summer as an option? My student has similar stats, less AP classes and test optional but OOS. Did not put summer as option so now Iâm worried! Still waiting. Communications major.

Was strongly considering SMEAL for finance, but wasnât 100% sure and did not want to risk getting summer because he has a trip to Japan planned. They told us it doesnât matter, he can take all the same classes. The only benefit is you get a SMEAL advisor. Plus he wants to explore majors and classes a little bit to be sure.

My high stats son had last checked the portal last Saturday. He received his acceptance in the mail yesterday. So we arenât sure when he was accepted. Will add his stats to the other page, but in a nutshell

Still waiting on my decision letter but here are my stats! Applied EA on 9/25 and submitted SRAR on 10/1. 3.98 UW/4.03 W. PA resident. 1380 SAT. 3 AP and 6 Honor classes. ECâs include 100+ volunteer hours at a hospital, paid job since sophomore year, member of multiple clubs at our school, etc. Planning to major in psychology at the College of Liberal Arts and hoping to get into UP (my #1 school!). Already accepted to University of Pittsburgh (main campus) and Temple University as of right now. Good luck to everyone!

Anyone else get something like this? Such a tease! Noticed a complete change in sonâs portal to this Thursday morning and then it went back to the usual the next day. 
Yes, a couple of weeks ago. Just briefly. 
I think we have a long wait here. That said, S24 got into one of his top choice schools, so a lot of the pressure is off. But, yeah, that was definitely quite a tease!

S24 said it doesnât say it on his portal, either. Everything was definitely in (and confirmed on the portal) well before the deadline, so I guess they just donât show it.

He really liked Delaware. But he also loves UMass, Syracuse, and UVM.

Is anyone else having trouble opening up their Penn state application status page
My sonâs application status page looks the same this morning⊠no change. Maybe a good sign for your applicant, maybe a decision is imminent? Good luck!

Ok but Iâm guessing itâs an issue with their website.
Or it could be that we have been refreshing so much that it wonât let us access the status page anymore. I tried from our iPad and computer and it says safari canât access it.
I just got on with no problem. Still being reviewed.

Thank you. Iâll call and ask whatâs going on. I was able to access it yesterday at 6:30 but this morning I couldnât get in at all. I even tried using my phone. The status portal wonât launch. I can access everything else on Penn state just not the portal.
