hello everyone, I’m an International student from Singapore (Indian citizen but), Could somebody chance me for Penn state main campus please? Much appreciated , here are my stats

I am an Alevel student but won’t get results until March 2016 (I’ve stated this under the educational gap section), but my Olevel stats are as follows

Math A2
Additional Math A1
Physics A2
English A1
Chemistry B3
Combined Humanities B3

I’ve got a very good positive trend, using a gpa calculator , I’ve got (3.00 in grade 9–> 3.30 in grade 10–> 3.77 in the Olevels.) I’m not sure how this translates, because This system is defn more rigorous than the American one.

My SAT scores are
1st time 2010( 560 Cr, 680 WR 770 math)
2nd time 2020 (620 cr, 760 math, 640 WR )

I know they don’t super score so are these okay?

I’m gunning for mech eng, but if I’m not wrong, all freshman have to enroll in the first year engineering programme isit? I’m not sure, clarification needed.

I know ECs don’t matter much, but they are great (eng related:robotics etc)

Essays are also great.

Any inputs are much appreciated. I’ve heard Penn state has a very high engineering acceptance rate (80+%), is this true?

Fyi, I’m a full pay student, so no financial aid req

I’ve posted only 6 subjects for Olevels because our grading is based on our 6 best subjects

I highly doubt engineering has an 80% acceptance considering the university acceptance rate is in the 50s or 60s if I recall. For your first two years your major is “ENGR,” aka pre-engineering. Doesn’t really affect anything. Students who don’t make it into the engineering school can take the same classes from DUS (“undecided”).

Your SAT scores are above average, no problems there.
