Does anyone have any preferences/comments on these 3? Need to make a decision! Thanks! :)

Accepted last night to the communications program!

Stats:
SAT: 1790 (560 CR 630 M 600 W)
GPA: 3.7 w
Other stats: 12 AP’s/honors in high school

Subjective:
Essays: well written
Teacher Recs: very good

State or Country: OOS NJ
Type: large public
Ethnicity: white
Gender: female

Other Factors: a lot of EC’s, community service, and sports
<<<<

What are your parents saying about how much they’ll pay each year for college?

All of these are OOS publics.

And as far as I know no decisions are due until May.

@mom2collegekids the price isn’t necessarily a factor, because the 3 are all affordable. I would just like to hear some information on each so I can make a decision…

@"Erin’s Dad" I am starting in May/June depending on the school because I am graduating HS in April, so my decisions are due February 1st.

???

Why are your decisions due in Feb??? Are you saying that you’d be starting summer school instead of starting in the fall???

Have you visited each school? What did you like or dislike about each school?

What is your major?

I would prefer Penn State.

@mom2collegekids yes, I am starting for summer session. I have visited PSU and IU, and I plan to visit UDel next month. My major is communications. Why PSU over the other 2?

anyone???
I’d pick Penn State because it’s stronger academically than UDel and better located (with NYC, Philadelphia, and DC all 5 hours away) than Bloomington.
But reasons are all subjective.
@MYOS1634 what do you think about IU’s academics compared to PSU’s?
They’re similar enough that there’s not much diffrence. I think that in your field of itnerest Penn State is marginally better but if you like IU and it’s cheaper it’s not a good enough reason to switch to Penn State and if you like Penn State you’re not missing on anything (as far as I know!) compared to IU.
@MYOS1634 How do you think employers view the both of them?
They are viewed the same. UDel might get a bump in Chem E.
@"Erin’s Dad" I’m going into communications, so still they’re about even? Does one have a slight edge?
I don’t see any difference among them for that major.
I think Penn State has an edge in communications on the East coast, but in the end it depends on you and how well you do.
