<p>Hey I have a 3.0 GPA after taking mostly honors and AP courses. I got a 1900 on the SAT's. I applied to Penn State Main but only got into altoona. How can I get to main campus any sooner than the standard 2 years? </p>

<p>By the way, I unofficially declared mechanical engineering to be my major.</p>

<p>penn state is huge.
there is no way.</p>

<p>at least you can have a car there first year and off campus housing is impressive and very close.</p>

<p>if i went id be at UP every weekend anyway I don’t see it as a big deal.</p>
