<p>My d has been accepted we felt it was a reach school for her but she is very excited if she was on the low end of sat and act do you think they will offer her any money and when does penn state let you know about money my niece, has not been offered anything yet and this was by far a safetly school for her. Has anyone heard about money yet?? Please let me know??</p>
<p>I think you get a financial aid packet in early March; I’m waiting for mine too! Make sure you fill out the FAFSA form before Feb 15, ASAP is best. I did mine in early January. Good Luck to you and your daughter! I’m on the same boat.=)</p>
<p>penn state doesn’t really give out annual merit scholarships like many private schools do, unless you’re in schreyers. so the only financial aid you’re probably going to get is from FAFSA, so get that done as soon as you can.</p>
<p>actually, there is some merit money, but it is generally in the form of scholarships within the different colleges and departments and goes to current students.</p>
