Im an international student who has been accepted to both of these universities for engineering and i simply cant choose between them... Which one is a better choice for engineering ? I also appleid to purdue but my application is in process... Does it worth to wait for purdue's decision ? Thx</p>
<p>I’m pretty much in the same boat as you, only that I have to decide between Penn State and Virginia Tech. Between Penn State and UCSB, however, I think Penn State’s engineering program has a better reputation.</p>
<p>I’m waiting from a decision from Purdue too… I called the International Office yesterday and they told me to expect a decision between one and two weeks! I have decided to wait but it’s a tough call: accepting Penn State’s decision too late is not advisable as they assign you to supplemental housing if the regular dorms fill up- and believe me, you don’t want to live in supplemental housing.</p>
<p>You MUST deposit somewhere by May 1st. If a decision is made after that date for a school you like better and you’ve already deposited, you can forfeit your deposit to attend the new school.</p>
