<p>Hello all, I applied first choice to UP and second choice Harrisburg campus for DUS. I checked my status for MyPennState a week or two ago and it said this "we are reviewing your credentials, once a decision is made it will be posted here" I checked again today and it changed to "We are in the final stages of review and an admissions decision will be posted here in the coming days". Before and during "we are reviewing your credentials, once a decision is made it will be posted here" status it was a picture of UP and a few kids. Now it changed to the Harrisburg and the pic was a set of kids once the "We are in the final stages of review and an admissions decision will be posted here in the coming days" status came. It also talked all about the Harrisburg housing and campus info. What does this mean?</p>

<p>jy1995 - did your stats meet the requirements for University Park??? Im asking because I’m curious what admissions is thinking right about now with the crazy amounts of applications they have received. My sons status is still the same reviewing credentials</p>

<p>@anxiousmom14 I was a little below the line, but i think my essay and being an URM helped push me into that accepted pile. I completed my application October 28th, and all my materials were received by October 26th. I chose EA, but i read this year they actually had a 20% increase in applications. I’m just glad my decision came now rather than January. Unfortunately they wont be reviewing applications during winter break, so if your sons status is still the same by Friday, it will stay the same until january.</p>
<p>hey @jy1995 i am currently in the same situation as you. in the end, did you get accepted into university park or harrisburg? does the picture change matter? i really really want to get into university park and id be devastated if i dont

<p>Yes picture change matters. If you had an alternative campus and the coming dats shows up with main campus pic you got in. If it changes to alternative you didn’t get into the main campus. If you did not have a alternative and picture stats the same, it’s either you got in or got rejected.</p>
<p>@135pipe are you 100% sure? im crushed because my grades are better than my friends and they got into UP. this sucks </p>
<p>Yea I am is sorry you can call them to change you to dus, most likely that will help you get in because that helped those get into the main campus.</p>
