Hi! My application status what changed to “We are working to finalize your offer of admission–congratulations!
Within the next few weeks, you will receive your offer of admission and an evaluation of transferable credits. Once your offer is finalized, you will be able to view and accept your offer here.“
Was just wondering if you knew what that meant or if you got the same thing??
Hi! I got the exact same email you did. I believe this is an informal way of saying that you have been accepted and your formal letter of admission will be coming in the mail. 2 weeks after I received that email I received an official acceptance. Hope this helped!
Hi, I’m a transfer student in a Liberal Arts institution in Boston. I have a 3.58 GPA, and had a 3.4 in high school with relatively average SAT/ACT scores… What are my chances???
In my opinion you have a great chance! Out of State is slightly more competitive than in state, but Penn State isn’t very selective for transfer students at all. They will mainly look at your college stats. Best of luck!
Are you all transferring to Penn State main or a branch campus?
I applied to Penn State Main.
It depends on the major. Business and Engineering I doubt you can transfer in.
nice congrats guys
Hmmmm…I didn’t think you could transfer into UP unless you were 1) had fewer than 18 credits or 2) were considered a junior. Usually if you are anywhere in between, they have you go to a branch campus until you reach junior status. Maybe they changed something?
@Sophley It depends on the major/college in the university.
