GPA: 4.3734
Rank: 9/364
Other stats: 20 AP+Honors - 12 APs including this year (four 4’s and one 5)
Subjective:
Essays: Ok…I think…wrote about passion for my major
Teacher Recs: Haven’t sent in yet
Counselor Rec: Okay…hopefully
Hook (if any): No
ECs: Debate Captain, computer science team, part time job for a global company, NHS

GPA: School does not do cumulative-- 3.3 freshman, 2.8 sophomore, 3.6 junior, so far senior 3.7 UW
Rank: School does not rank Wasn’t diagnosed with ADHD until end of sophomore year– that’s why my grades were so bad (counselor says so in rec)-- this means I could not get into an AP or Honors course at my school
Subjective:
Essays: Wrote a great essay on finding who I am through playing hockey
Teacher Recs: Good
Counselor Rec: Should be good
ECs: 3 sport varsity athlete (spend all my time doing sports)
Hook?: My school is in the top 20 private schools in America

@amarz12 They won’t look at senior year grades at all. So averaging out your Freshman, sophomore and junior years you have a 3.2 overall GPA. Generally, that would mean deferred to a branch campus. If you did apply undecided and said you’d go in the summer, AND the counselor recommendation holds weight, then you MIGHT get in for summer. If you didn’t check summer, I definitely would. The average GPA for main campus is a 3.65.
@jlhpsu i’d like your input…you seem to have so much knowledge…my daughter applied 11/30, she has not heard back. she applied for UP w summer option. she has ACT 25 and weighted gpa 3.30…
