Penn State University Park Defer Admission?

So I’ve been admitted to Penn State University Park MS in CSE Program for the Spring 2020 Semester. However, a few things came up, it would be more convenient for me to delay my admission till the Fall 2020 semester, any of you know if this is possible.

I think I found a blog post pertaining to this issue (https://sites.psu.edu/weadmit/2014/04/18/the-details-on-deferring-admission/), but I, unfortunately, don’t have the credentials to view it.

Call admissions but you should be allowed to defer but might have to pay the deposit again.

@Didanny97 Hi i am sorry but i don’t have the answer to your problem but can you maybe help me with mine? I’m wondering if it is ok if college board sends test scores a little late. And if i apply early action does that mean just my application and SRAR needs to be done by November 1 or does that mean everything including test scores?

@maxqwerty From the website:

https://admissions.psu.edu/info/future/firstyear/applicationreview/earlyaction/

“To apply Early Action, students must submit a complete application (the application itself, the Self- Reported Academic Record [SRAR]; and standardized test scores [official scores from either the SAT or ACT]) by the deadline of November 1.”

Did you just re-take the SAT? Is there any other reason you can’t get them sent there in 2 weeks?

@lucyvanpelt Yes I took the SATs October 5th and i called college board today and they said the scores will be sent Oct 28.

@maxqwerty hopefully they will be considered ‘received’ in time -

good luck!
