I know Penn State has rolling admissions, but everyone knows that the chances of getting in to those kinds of schools drops significantly once you get to this part of the year. I know I shouldn't have waited this long..but a combination of some at home issues has really kept me from being able to get ready for college as far as SATs and those kinds of things but I'm finally ready to get it in motion. I'm pretty sure my chances are fairly shot especially because I won't be able to apply until mid-February because of SAT scores and I'm feeling very discouraged. I feel a LITTLE better since the major I'm intending to declare isn't really one of the more competitive majors like the College of Engineering has, but let's see what you guys think anyway...

Intended major: Russian, later plan to couple it with international politics
GPA: 3.98 UW/5.479 W
Rank: 1 out of 410
AP classes: Spanish 5, US History I and II, Chemistry I and II, Biology, English Lit
Honors classes: Physics, Algebra II, Pre-calc/Trigonometry, Chemistry, English, etc pretty much every non-AP class I've taken has been honors.
SAT score: Have not yet received scores, anticipating 1850 or better based on past PSAT scores (bad indicator, I know, but at least it's something..)
Extra-curriculars: Model UN, Mock trial, Speech and Debate, Literary Magazine, Foreign Language Club, National Spanish Honor Society.

What do you guys think (if my chances are even above like 0%)? :(
