PENN STATE University Park?!?

so I sent in my application September 15th for rolling admission. I want to enter the Liberal Arts school as a political science major.

gpa: 3.42 unweighted, 3.84 weighted
[I have a low gpa, but alot of it has to do with my school's grading system, so if it went on a public school grading scale, it'd be alot higher.]

-I've taken 19 honors classes in high school and one college-level class

-SATs: first time: 550 (M), 620 (CR), 650 (W)
second time: 510 (M), 650 (CR), 720 (W)
third time: 610 (M), 670 (CR), 640 (W) [overall best test date]

-ACTs: total score was a 28 but I got a perfect score on the reading section.

-clubs: I've been on student council for four years and am currently student body president, political debate club, spanish club, interact club, anti-genocide club, National Honors Society, I used to write/photograph for the school paper,

-sports: 4-year varsity letter for high school swim team

-volunteer: I've volunteered for my church's bible class for the past 7 years, volunteer through a representative program for my school [we give tours, assist at school sponsored events, etc.], and volunteered as a camp counselor for one week.

-work experience: I've been a lifeguard for the past two years, additionally teaching swim lessons. I babysit for several families regularly, on average 12 hours per month.

do you think I'll get in? I'm really nervous because 2/3 of PSU's decision is gpa. I should also note that I am in-state.

umm, i’d be surprised if you didn’t get in. PSU isn’t all that selective.

Penn State-University Park is selective.

main campus is quite selective, which is why I’m nervous.

I think you’d maybe get waitlisted or rejected. University Park as you said is quite selective and hard to get into. However you aren’t applying for Smeals at least…

sorry but could you offer some more explanation of why you think I might get rejected?

Good chance of getting in. You are have higher than average SAT scores .

Yeah as Swervmerv said, don’t listen to me.
