The application will open August 1, there is now going to be a non-binding earlier decision choice to get an answer by Dec 24, and financial aid will come out much closer to decision

@greenbutton thanks for posting - I had heard that was in the works… I think it is good! Hopefully they will actually MEET it this year… since some colleges didn’t meet the Jan. 31 deadline. Either makes for a good … or a bad… Christmas break!
This is great news! They have so many applicants for the priority that they need to break it up even more. I do wish, however, that Penn State had a binding EA option. For many of the kids, it’s PSU or bust, so it would be nice to have an option like that for very serious Penn State applicants so that the “tester” applicants (I’ll apply and see what happens) are weeded out from that decision period.
