Hi everyone! Right now, Penn State UP is at the top of my list, with only one reach school above it, but I honestly doubt I’ll get in there and Penn State is most likely #2.
I’m a junior and currently have about a 91-92 GPA (my school doesn’t do it on a 4.0 scale) and a 31 composite ACT, which I am being tutored for and retaking in June. Although my GPA is kind of low, I will have completed 6 AP classes (4 now, 2 more senior year) and numerous honors classes by the end of next year. I have also taken two undergrad courses at NYU (psych & journalism) and will be taking two more (microecon and intro to college writing) at UPenn this summer. I will also be captain of the varsity tennis team this fall and am in several other clubs.
As of now, what are my chances of getting into Penn State? I am instate, full-pay, and my school is a feeder school to Penn State with more than half of our graduating seniors going there each year. I’m worried, though, because on Naviance the average accepted GPA from my school is a 93 and mine is a tad lower (the average ACT is a 25, though). Thanks so much in advance for your help!!
