Penn State vs Clemson

which school would you reccomend

well obviously I would recommend Clemson - what are you looking for in a college?

I went to Penn State, my high school daughter is a senior and has Clemson as her first choice.

It all depends on what you are looking for in college besides an education and what your comfort zone is.

Penn State is a very large school with a large feel. It is a big campus in a small town. Think about taking buses from one end of campus to the other between classes.
State College is a great college town with lots of food and drink. PSU also has a lot of Greek Life.

Clemson is a large school with a small school feel in my opinion. The central part of campus houses most of the classroom buildings and once there you can most likely walk from class to class. Clemson is also a great college town although much smaller than State College but it also serves about half the number of students as State College.

Both are big sports schools with great football programs as well as great gameday experiences with things like marching bands and tailgates.

PSU is in the middle of nowhere in PA, cold dark, snowy winters.
Clemson is in the middle of nowhere in SC, warmer, less snow, golf year round kind of weather.
