Penn State vs CU Boulder vs Santa Clara (Computer Science)

Deciding between Penn State, CU Boulder, and Santa Clara (Computer Science)

What are everyone’s thoughts and experiences at these schools? I was accepted into the CS programs at all of them and would love more information for all. How are the CS programs (rigor, professors, opportunities)? How easy is it to get internships and jobs? How is the social life at all of these schools? Any advice for my decision? All OOS pricing.

PSU pros:
Relatively high CS rank, many focuses of CS, big (football and greek life), large alumni network for internship and job opportunities

PSU cons: far, bad weather, expensive (but cheaper than CU and SCU)

CU pros: nice campus, solid CS program, big school
(I’d like more opinions on CU)

Santa Clara pros: pretty solid CS ranking, nice location (Silicon Valley), weather

Santa Clara cons: expensive, small (not really any sporting events)

Let me know any more information you have about these schools and the student life that goes along with them. To be honest I am a big sports guy so that’s why the size of the school is in each respective pro and con list. I would like to be somewhere to learn and get prepared to apply my knowledge. All while enjoying my college experience
