<p>This may be an ancient thread, but let's get it started up again; which do you think is the better school? </p>

<p>Both are equally good, IMHO.</p>
<p>Both are great schools…one might be stronger in certain majors…and the other might be stronger in other majors. For many majors they are probably rather similar.</p>

<p>Penn State by a smidgeon because of engineering and graduate schools.</p>
<p>Penn State because it has a clean football program. </p>

<p>I think they’re pretty much in the same tier, maybe with PSU a little ahead.</p>
<p>mom2collegekids, I just wanted to put this post out there to see how everyone reacts to it, hoping to get some heated battles along the way. I agree with the majority above that both are about equal. </p>
<p>Personally, PSU is my first choice as it is in state and has everything that I’m looking for in a college. However, my next door neighbor is attending OSU this fall and I respect them as well (despite the recent football scandal).</p>
<p>Pretty damn even if you ask me; I don’t even know what school I would pick if I got into both. Both schools have excellent graduate schools as well so it’s hard to pick IMHO.</p>
