Hello! I am a rising high school senior who plans on majoring in biomedical engineering in college. I have a list of schools I’m interested in and am going to apply to, however two universities in particular (Penn State and Pitt) are especially appealing because I am a Pennsylvania resident. I was wondering if anyone could provide some inside insight as to what these two schools’ engineering programs are like. (Help would be especially appreciated if you are currently enrolled as a biomedical engineer at either of these colleges.) Any information on aspects such as professor quality and accessibility, differences in curriculum, research opportunities, facilities, any issues with class sizes, etc. would be extremely helpful!
Also, I have visited both colleges and like both of their campuses. I have, however, noted very different campus cultures but at the moment am only concerned with looking at the academics of each school.
Thank you for your help!
