Penn State vs Purdue Engineering

Hi, I got into Penn state and Purdue both as a undecided.
I’m thinking about studying engineering.
I didn’t take any APs, but I always took honors and high honors for math and science.
Both of them have good engineering programs, but I heard Purdue engineering is way difficult. Is Purdue engineering really hard to graduate compare to Penn state? (I’m kind of scared.)
I’m not one hundred percent sure that I will go to engineering area, but it’s around 80percent.
Should I go to Penn state where other majors are good overall? (Isn’t business and engineering are the only good major at Purdue?) I know both schools are huge, but is Penn state really a party school? How the atmosphere or students in both school different?
I know Penn state have some certificate program. Is it worth to do it?
Which schools have more research opportunities, internship opportunities, better professors and supports(sine English is my second language I need some help)–which school is more flexible?
(Both school was reach for me because I have a low act score. My weighted GPA is 4.33 and unweighted is 3.6-3.7.)
I will work hard wherever I go…
What would you choose if money doesn’t matter?

Thank you!

If you were admitted as Undecided, then your best choice is Penn State. Purdue ‘weeds out’ its undecideds because they make enrollment management difficult and makes its majors very hard to access. Penn state accepts ‘dus’ students as pre-engineering; you have to meet the exact same requirements as other pre-engineering students, and must meet the same criteria (3.2). The classes are hard but once you’ve reached the required grades in a set of classes, you’re in. There’s no further selection.
In addition, the ITS school is also excellent (Look at the Data science major, or Cybersecurity).
Are both affordable?

Thank you for your answer! Do you know what percent of students are weed out?
