I've been accepted to both schools and cannot decide which one to go.
I live in NY, and I understand Stony Brook would be MUCH cheaper, but I wanna know which school I should go to if money wasnt a factor.
I want to go to medical school, but I plan to major in Business in case I change my mind about my career AND other reasons. But I will take all the pre - requisite classes for med school.

I REALLY need help deciding on a school, because I'm completely up in the air about which one to go to.

Honestly that is one tough question to answer.

My best friend was in an identical situation with both Penn State and Stony Brook. In fact, he wanted to do pre-med as well. He ultimately decided on Penn State due to the fact that Stony Brook is extremely close to home (it’s a 5 minute car drive from where we live). Penn State has a lot of advantages over Stony Brook in some areas such as the large alumni network. Stony Brook has a definite focus on the sciences. My friends from high school have all interned at Stony Brook with numerous scientists. The fact that you’re sort of shifty with your majors makes this decision even harder. Both are good schools no doubt about that.

If money wasn’t an option, I’d pick Penn State. Penn State is probably known as one of the most fun colleges in the nation not the mention it’s a pretty well-known college in the nation. Maybe I’m just biased since I live so near to Stony Brook. Unless you’re 100% sure you want to do pre-med, Stony Brook is the better fit.

Penn State. Disregarding finances, it’s not a tough choice.
However, Stony has a phenomenal graduate medical program.
