Hello, just wanted to ask which of these universities should I go to for engineering. I’m an international student so no in-state tuition and cost is not a factor for my decision.
What’s the major? Your selection is all over! What are you looking for? My son is international and in the same boat
@airway1 Engineering Undeclared at Penn State and Virginia Tech, and Mechanical Engineering at UCD.
Which UW?
If Washington, did you get Direct to College of Engineering admission, or undeclared pre-something without Direct to College of Engineering?
Would not recommend Washington without Direct to College of Engineering admission, or UCSD undeclared, if you want to major in engineering, since getting into an engineering major after enrolling will be difficult and competitive.

Penn State and VT do have a GPA threshold to enter your major after first year:

The out-of-state costs do vary between these schools.
@ucbalumnus To clarify, I got into Engineering at Penn State, Virginia Tech, and UCD.
