do I have a chance of getting into penn state Upark with an unweighted 3.8 GPA from junior year and a 1680 on SATs (570 math 510 cr)
I take ap classes this year, but not last year, and I've heard they don't account for senior year at high school.

Also I really messed up on my application - applied for Abington for my first 2 years, sent my transcripts there, then got it changed to 4 yrs at Upark. Not sure if I have to resend transcripts. I also thought the "how many honors classes" question only applied to THIS year, so I put 6, instead of 21.

Well its a state school and your GPA is fine. So you will probably be able too get in. But nobody really knows if you’ll get in, its up to penn state.

I really hope so, I’ve heard they look mostly at GPA, but I’m confused because I compare the GPA of someone else to that of their SAT scores on this site and I wonder if my school is incredibly easy/taking easy classes or I’m not calculating it correctly, the average of my grades LAST year was a 94 with all but one honors class (none AP) and I applied relatively late (late November I think?)

If I may ask what is your desired major? It makes a difference.

Theres not really an army of people going in for forensic science. so even if you wouldn’t qualify (which you do) you have a better chance at getting in as they have quotas to fill and not an army of people pouring in. Case in point business admin were they choose the best and the rest fall to the wayside.

I wouldn’t worry about it honestly.
