Hey guys how competetive is the 6/7 med program for PSU I heard it is one of the most competetive, if not the most competetive in the country. I think they only accecpt 44 people. Is that right????

Penn State's selection process for this program is based a lot on standardized test scores. Other important factors are volunteering/research and the essay and interview. They usually select about 20-25% for the interview process, and out of that chose close to half for the program. So in all, I guess 10-12.5% of the applicants actually get accepted to the program.

how many apply in total and around how many get accecpeted??

This year, I was told at the interview that 800 people applied. 60 were accepted. So I guess that is a little less than 10% then.

What is the average sat and sat II score for the 6/7 psu med program

This year the average SAT score was either 1500 or slightly above that. I don't know about SAT II scores. Those are not necessary, but always look good.
