Penn Summer Pre-College Program

For rising high school seniors. How is it? Anybody do it? How was your experience? What courses did you take? Is it worth the 9 thousand dollars for 6 weeks? How did you spend most of your time? Thanks.. would you recommend it?

I'm also very curious!

If you want to go to Penn, do it. 100%. Hands-down. No questions.

I did a program at Penn this summer and I have no doubt that it helped my chances. Just think about it, whereas most other people can just write things like "I want to do X, Y, and Z", you can say you DID x, y, and z. I don't really think it matters which program you did, but I probably think it helps that I did a program that was run by Penn itself, and not like Musiker or Julian Krinsky or something like that.

I know that when I handed in my application and in that spot where it says "Colleges attneded" or something like that, it definitely helped that I could fill in University of Pennsylvania, and I know that my Essays wouldn't have been NEARLY as meaningful had I not been there for a month this summer.

thanks a lot!

if you attend the medicine leadership program at johns hopkins for people to people, does that mean it would look bad?
