penn summer school

I am currently attending 6 week summer program in penn

I am taking actual college classes -- Introduction to microeconomics and Introduction to mass media

If I get a good grade in both of the classes

and get a good recommendation letter from either of the instructor (they are both graduate students)

will this boost my chances for admittance?

i did the same and got a good rec, got deferred ED, then accepted RD…that was my only hook per se, so i guess i was expendable in the beginning, but more valuable come RD. im not sure if i wouldve gotten in without it, its hard to say. but i know a lot of ppl who got in ED with it, and a bunch who get rejected or deferred/rejected as well. if you have a real hook id say youre golden
