"Haha yeah. I paid my transcript ($10), SAT score ($9) and ACT ($7 or something) and ended up not applying to Michigan. I sort of regret it, but I couldn't sneak in any time to finish the essays. Now, I only have Northwestern to go and Part I was submitted already. I only have like 2 essays to finish the application, which will probably take me until April 30th. hah"

to green09: you really had to paid for your college's transcript or high school's one? I don't know that we have to paid this fee.

Also, anyone knows about fee waiver for transfer application? I intend to apply 7 schools and if each costs about $45, plus SAT Score *7, then I am broke. Give me some suggestions please!!!

This whole process is way too expensive. Application fees are insane, sending scores, transcripts...it all adds up so quick. Now I'm sad because of all the money I don't have anymore...thanks guys!

I paid for my college transcript, my high school ones are free. I think for each school, there is a fee waiver form and you have to qualify by being in certain income level group. Good luck on getting these waived, I don't know how selective they are when it comes to waiving app fees.

well i turned in my app online on the 15th (10am est ) and i got the letter with the userid and passcode already (17th). It was postdated March 13th, so they sent it prior to me turning in the 2nd part of the app.

"If you are a transfer or freshman regular decision nursing applicant, you will receive an email when your final decision is available."

The only email they sent to me after I submitted my application was:

Thank you for using our online application.

This message confirms that The University of Pennsylvania has received part 2 of the online application. Please print this message for your records. If you have not already done so, please submit part 1 of our application as your application will not be processed until we receive part 1 of our application - either online or by paper. Please do not complete part 1 online if you have already sent it to us by mail.

Reminder: it is the applicant's responsibility to ensure that all materials - recommendations, downloadable forms, application fee - have arrived at PENN by the appropriate date.

Regards,
Penn Undergraduate Admissions

Does it take time for them to send it?....I would have thought it would be automatic.

I got the pin today too, at my school. But you can go to the penn website and have them send you an email with your username and password. Just go to the "forgot password?" link.

"you can sign in using the login and password that were sent to you via postal mail to access your personal decision information" - I guess I misread, thanks for clarifying Reachin5thestars.

I guess they havent set a pin # for me, as it says they don't have my name in their database when I go to forgot password...

maybe it's a way of saying I'm already rejected ? lol

it's weird because they said they sent me an email with my username and password after i requested it but i haven't gotten it... oh well i'll just wait for it to come in the mail i guess

I haven't gotten anything yet. letter or email. i did send my application in by regular mail, however. should i call admissions, or wait it out a little more. is anybody else in the same boat?
