Penn Transfer Applicants

Anyone else applying to Penn for transfer? I'm currently a freshman at Georgetown. I'm an African American male. Most likely will have a GPA around 3.6 this semester(sigh, astronomy). 1340 SAT I, 690, 630, 630 SAT IIs. I'm in the GU Symphony Orchestra, the Admissions Ambassadors Program, Campus Ministry, and i've written a few Viewpoints for the paper. I also work at University Information Services, where I work the Service Desk(helping w/ virus, spyware, adware and other pc related problems), and Hoya Computing(lending software, taking repair requests, and helping ppl choose computers and other related hardware. I'm also the informal Apple specialist, lol). I also was chosen for the Emerging Leaders program next semester. I'll also send in a music sample(i play viola). I'm applying to the College for psych. I also want to do a healthcare management and BBB interschool minor, b/c i'm really interested in healthcare management, and i took healthcare in america this semester. I also want to take some engineering classes, but Gtown doesn't have any. I applied to Penn before and was denied, so I'm applying again. I'm hoping to get a rec from my healthcare professor, as well as my psych professor for next semester(i took gen psych w/ him 2 summers ago, hopefully he remembers me,lol).

Anyone else applying to Penn?

I'm actually applying to Penn for the BBB major myself. They seem to take a lot of transfers so I'm hoping all goes well!

cool! Yeah, i REALLY want to go to Penn. I visited this weekend(my friend is in Wharton), and it confirmed my decision. Good luck as well!

I'm applying to wharton.
You can see my past posts for my stats.

what don't you like about georgetown? that's one of my top choices to transfer to! is it they just don't have the programs you want?

exactly! If Georgetown allowed us to take any class in any school, or had some engineering classes, and had better facilities for the sciences, then i'd gladly stay. I love it, I have friends here, etc., but for what i want to do, Penn(or Cornell, which i have guaranteed transfer), would be a better fit.
