Hey guys,

I’m currently trying to decide between Penn and Johns Hopkins. I’ve never been to either of the two schools though, and if anyone who knows anything about similarites/differences, that would be great. I want to major in econ and international relations(Hopkins’ other #1 program) and want to be in a city(I’m not sure whether or not Hopkins is an urban campus). Thanks

Hopkins is definitely an urban campus, in a not so good area of Baltimore. I have a cousin attending grad school there. I don't know much about Hopkins, but I would say that Penn has a very good reputation for econ and intl. relations.

Go to penn.
JHU has morale problems as well as one of the most arrogant, inaccessible faculties north of the south pole.

Keynes...I was accepted into Penn, JHU and various other schools to finish my BA in Economics. I visited Penn and JHU and few weeks ago. I really liked Penn the best between those two. For IA, JHU would be better, but for Economics, Penn can't be beat. I liked the big city of Philly. It kind of felt like a minature New York. If you want more info, send me a private message.

you really need to visit
