Hey, I have been waitlisted for Penn CAS. I thought I'd start a thread for all those that were waitlisted and AGREED to stay on the list.

I'm curious to know:
Are any of you planning on sending additional information (i.e letters, recommendations)
How are you guys feeling about your chances?

And what schools do you all plan on putting your deposit in while you wait for Penn.

Same here, waitlisted for penn CAS. I want to send some additional info but i m a little confused. Should the info be sent by an E-mail attachment or is there some other way of sending it?

Waitlisted, too! Well, I thought I’d send my letter of interest via e-mail (Word attachment), and ask my counselor and/or teachers to send in updated letters… idk? Suggestions?

Im planning on doing the same. I want to have one of my science teachers write a letter about the progress I’ve had in her class but I’m not sure if she would have to email it or if regular mail would be fine :/

Hey, i’ve been waitlisted as well, and I was wondering what to include in the letter, and if my recommendations were alright should is send any additional ones… I’m really confused, thanks if you have any suggestions.

I was also waitlisted at Penn, and I really want to set myself apart and improve my chances, so i have an idea and would like your opinion. My major is Computer Science and through my high school years I have created these video games that have done well in some competitions. They are pretty creative and they are basically my pride and joy, and I was wondering if it would be a good idea to perhaps send the adcoms a disc with these games on it, explaining my passion and why I love programming. I also know that it might come off as weird or something, and they might be too busy to even play them.
