Penn's Math Program

^ Well, you would be a math MAJOR, after all (with an actuarial mathematics minor).

do you guys have any idea which admission officer is responsible for international admission

I'll say this: all of the aspiring actuaries I know are math majors. The qualifier exams are hard, but being an actuary is a great immediate career path (usual mathematics career paths like economics or graduate school can take some time). One of my marketing/stat professors was discussing how he worked as an actuary for awhile before becoming an academic.

I looked into the material (I'm a stat and cs major which means I've got enough math to take them) and it's just not for me, but I have some friends going into it. It's worth looking into.

Finally, Math beyond 240 is very nonlinear. There are plenty of options.
