Penny for your thoughts...

Find me my dream school!! please :)

--School spirit (don't care if this is through sports or just there)
--Not right in the middle of a city, I need a campus
--Pretty campus
--Great academics AND great social life (so nothing with the motto 'where fun goes to die')
--Not a big focus on sororities and frats please
--Not a big drug culture please (but I definitely have no problems with alcohol being there)
--Not too liberal
--Friendly student body
--Nothing over 10,000 undergrads
--Most students live on campus

Right now I don't care where in the country it is and just list schools regardless of academic standing, please and thank you!

University of Dayton seems to fit all criteria perfectly.

It's located away from town, but you still would have access to over 8 million people within an hour and a half from your door, along with 4 major cities: Dayton, Cincy, Columbus, and Indy.

This place has pride beyond belief, and there really is a strong community. Known for being very friendly, accepting, and laid-back (common attire is a hoodie, flip flops, and jeans)

Loose Marianist Catholic affiliation. Loves to have parties (upperclassmen live in university-owned homes that are on campus, and they frequently hold parties. A lit porch light shpows that anyone is invited to come, and there always a couple)

Roughly 7,000 undergraduates, also has a well-respected honors program (which I'm considering doing) and well-respected business and engineering programs, among others.

Haven't heard about drugs there, but most love their alcohol. (yes, it's somewhat of a party school)

Seems to fit the best out of anyplace that I can think of (but then again, it also seems like the schools you should be considering are also the same ines that made the NCAA bracket), so start there and good luck!

How about Notre Dame? It fits every criterion you've named.

Thanks, I'll look into both schools.
Any other suggestions?

You should take a look at Rice.

I second Dayton. Great school spirit, pretty campus, good academics.

what about...
Wake Forest
Boston College
Syracuse
USC

How about Georgetown? It has its own campus and if u wanted to go to the city, you still can.

heyya, Syracuse, USC, and BC are too big. 'Cuse also has a huge Greek scene. Wake Forest is a great suggestion though.

I'd help, but I can't even think of any schools that aren't particularly liberal.

Schools with a reputation for being "preppy" tend to be conservative.

Some of the ivies also fit into this mold. Harvard, Princeton, and Yale specifically. Not Dartmouth, Cornell, Columbia, Brown, or Penn. Those all fault out with one or more of the OP's criteria.

Washington University (in St. Louis) and Tufts University (in Medford, MA- just outside of Boston) perhaps?

I second Rice.

I definitely second georgetown

Actually, I'm seeing a lot of elite schools up here. It would help if we knew your basic stats (but then again, if you're on CC, they probably are at least pretty decent)

You seem to be perfect in every respect for the college one of the earlier posters mentioned: Notre Dame

Maybe Colgate?

Your 10,000 student maximum...does that include professional and graduate students? faculty? staff? If it doesn't include, those I suggest Duke.

How about Williams or Amherst?
