hey, so anyone that has been accepted to annenberg - would you mind posting what your online statuses before you were accepted? or what they were after if they changed?

i know its pretty much pointless because the online system is so random, but i read the threads about the status change theories - how it might be affected by what major/college you applied under.... basically just trying to kill some time before i hear back :/ hahah thanks guys

since not that many people seem to have been accepted to annenberg yet, anyone applying can also post here so we can compare :)

I applied and have heard nothing. My status has been on “being reviewed” for as long as I can remember! It comforts me to know that not many people have heard back from this particular school though.

I’m on forwarded for review…
I had a dream last night at first my status was complete jibberish, and then it turned into
“[waitlist] This application requires a personal interview.”
kind of weird…

I received my acceptance letter on Tuesday and my status is still forwarded. I am a Communication major

yeah, mine pretty much went from preliminary review (a loooong time ago) > forwarded (been stuck on that for at LEAST a month)

pveticket: hahaha im pretty sure ill start having some dreams (more like nightmares haha) about USC statuses soon, since ive spent WAYY too much time on CC trying to figure them out and find some hope

wearesc: congrats! i applied as a communication major too was your status always forwarded? or did it change at all before you got your acceptance

i also applied to annenberg as a PR major and my status has been forwarded for a very long time as well. what are your stats…if you don’t mind posting?

no worries, theyre definitely not my strong point haha but whatever happens happens

gpa: 3.8
sat I: 1950 loww i know :(

how about you?

oh and my gpa… i kinda forget, but im pretty sure thats UW

my application has still “Been forwarded for committee review”

bigtalker: about how long has it been that?

it seems like most of us are just stuck on “forwarded” and have been for a long time. maybe its a good sign?

I have been Forwarded since mid-late February. My status still reads forwarded and neither the deposit nor the RSVP link work for me

I was accepted in January I think…and my first status was forwarded to committee review, then changed back to being reviewed, you’ll find out by april 1st blah blah blah. it’s been like that since. hope this helps

pveticket- I had a dream last night that my big packet came, and i was accepted. I was soooooo happy and celebrating like crazy. During the dream, I even asked myself, “Am I dreaming? Haha! No way, this is too real!”

Only to wake up in my bed confused, sad, and late for school -_-

my stats are
gpa: 3.92
SAT: 1920…way lower than anyone on here!

i had a really amazing interview with the director of annenberg admissions and we have been talking since our interview in july…hopefully that will make up for my low sat score.

totally! plus your SAT still falls in the middle 50 % no worries, you’re fine :)

CaliBoundSB: It’s been like that for at least a few weeks. But i’m not sure exactly how long.

I received my admit letter to annenberg as a broadcast journalism major this past monday, and i just checked my USC app and this is the message:

“Undergraduate Application (Part II, Fall 2010)
Your application is being reviewed by the admission committee. We will mail notification of their decision by April 1. If for some reason you don’t receive our written notice, we will be happy to provide the results over the phone beginning April 11th.”

…sooo I guess the status doesnt really mean anything?

is anyone stuck on fall grades?
i applied as a PR major and went from preliminary review to fall grades and it has not budged.

bump - i think there are more annenberg applicants with little status change :/

Most of you, if not all, are freshmen applicants right?
