i also sent in an essay i wrote for a contest that i won, along with a picture and a why i want to go to brandeis essay-they dont ask for one

my school doesnt rank

Congrats to both of you! I swear it must have been my essay that got me in, because my test scores are so incredibly low. My essay was pretty offbeat though, which Brandeis seems to like.

By the way if you want to meet other people who got in ED and are comfortable with it, you should get a Facebook at www.facebook.com. It's a site where you make a profile and the only people who can see it are people who go to your school, and the only way you can make one is with a student email address, so it's pretty safe. We have a group called the Incoming Class of 2010 where a few of us have organized various AIM and MSN chatrooms just for ED kids so we can get to know each other, find prospective roommates, etc.

I've found it as a pretty good way of meeting people since I don't know a single person my age in Boston, just older family members. If you (or your children) are at all nervous about not knowing people, I would really suggest it.

Im soo excited! i got facebook for it, btw your test scores arn't that low! hehe i did much worse, i got 1710! but my act scores were decent. Whatever doesnt matter now that we are in, but i think it was my essay also. talk to you on facebook!
