People Applying to Exeter?/Chance/idon'treallyknow

I'm applying to Exeter as I'm sure many of you are. I'm not sure if I'm the only one who is curious about other applicants, but I was kind of wondering how I match up with other applicants. I hope this doesn't sound bad because this has no malicious intent behind it, I'm just curious.

I sent in the PSAT and my percentile scores were:
Reading-96
Math-97 (last year I got in the 99th percentile on the SSAT, so I wish I did better on the PSAT)
Writing Skills-99

Overall in the 98th percentile among college-bound juniors.

-I also play three sports at my school at the JV level. I play my main sport outside of school on a club team.
-I have founded a club at my school
-Work over 35 service hours a semester (this semester worked over 50)
-I have been selected for two honors bands
-I'm student class representative
-All A's since ninth grade, all honors classes in high school
-Top 5% in my class

I guess this is kind of a chance thread, but I wasn't really sure what to title it. Sorry for being so vague about everything, but I have an eerie feeling that some how someone form PEA will come across this thread and it will look very weird.

Also, I've talked with the PEA coach who coaches my main sport, and she said she would support my application. I'm not quite sure how much I'm allowed to say, so I'll just say her feedback was very positive. I was wondering if this will actually help me in admissions.

This turned out being a much longer post than I anticipated, sorry about that! If anyone's still here and reading this that has not passed out from boredom, feel free to brag about yourself here! :)

You seem like a competent candidate, but what do I know, because I’m applying to Exeter as well! I was wondering though, do interviewers speak/thank the students after the interviewer. I interviewed at Exeter and was not sent an e-mail, etc… Thoughts on this?

I wasn’t sent an email after the interview either. My interview was at an off-campus reception so I’m sure my interviewer was very busy with interviews. I’m not sure if it is protocol for all interviewers to thanks students after the interview, perhaps the other way around. I sent a hand-written thank you card to all my interviewers. My taft interviewer seemed pretty impressed as he ended our intereview a little early to go to his hotel room and send an email to the coaches/heads of the activities I stated interest in. He showed me the email and the replies he got on his blackberry later, and he copied my in to the original email. It was indeed very positive. Even with how positively our interview went, I still never heard from him after the interview, so I don’t think not getting correspondence from him or her is a big deal.

Sorry for such a long post! I always seem so long winded on the subject of prep school! :)

Wow! How old are you??

If you’re talking to me, I’m 16. :)

Hah I’m 13
