Hella white people? Asian? Latino? African American?

1% American Indian/Alaskan Native
31% Asian/Pacific Islander
2% Black/Non-Hispanic
6% Hispanic
47% White/Non-Hispanic
9% Non-Resident Alien
3% Race/ethnicity unreported

I know the statistics. But do they seem accurate?

i visited UW during second winter break, what i did notice was that there were a lot of asians. btw, i’m asian too, lol, so i’ll be one of them soon and of course there were whites as well. those two groups stood out to me.

There are a TON of Asians in the Seattle area in general. The old high school that I attended was around 37% Asian and the rest white, with a couple of Blacks and Hispanics.

I don’t see why it matters that much though. UW is huge; you’ll find many types of people.

Just curious I guess. Haha. I’m a Latino.

There are a lot of asains in the area in general, almost as many as whites. But it’s not discriminatory or anything.
Plus Seattle/the areas around have some of the best pho and teriyaki you will ever eat. so so good =)

too many asians, i might add(i’m asian as well).

Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Taiwanese, Indonesian, Thai, Indian. They’re all here and in large numbers.

i looked at the stats and it said like 1/3 Asian, but when i went for a tour a few weeks back, i swear it was like 1/2 Asian hahah

I saw mostly white people. Beautiful white chicks. Haha.

^There’s all types of people. I personally don’t mind Asians at all. The schools I’ve gone to were at least 1/3 Asian until I moved. :)

oh yeah. TON of asians

any good school will have a ton of asians

Haha, if accepeted im definetly going there… half latino half european, haha hope there are some more like me.

haha, atsuwhat92! stereotype?
