People Still Waiting For Ucsd 2007 Fall

I got in!

"On behalf of the faculty, staff and students of the University of California, San Diego, I congratulate you on your admission to Revelle College as a major in Economics! UCSD is one of the nation's most outstanding universities, and we look forward to welcoming you to our campus."

REJECTED. But I had TAG and I know I completed all my courses. Looks like I will be making some phone calls to admissions today...

Not eligible at this time. Sounds like a rejection to me. Too bad. It was a good run why it lasted.

i havent checked the sd site since i got into la...but i just checked and got in. kinda strange, cus i figured sd would reject me since i got into ucla...guess my theory wasnt correct after all, haha.

Congrats you guys. :)

I got rejected, but that's ok. It's not the end of the world. SDSU here I come!

I would imagine that I was denied because most of my coursework was done in North Carolina. I have lived in San Diego for less than a year, and I had only 2 semesters at a CCC. I guess that's the problem with being Active Duty Army.

Anyway, Congrats again to people that got accepted. :)

gothicangel, i have plenty of friends at sdsu who absolutely loooove it! plus the campus is much nicer than ucsd's...i think you'll really enjoy yourself there :)

I'm in, phukkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk yeahhhhhhhhhh

Electrical Engineering in Thurgood Marshall College.

I love you UCSD!!!! :D

who's actually gonna go to ucsd? I am rejected from ucla and soon cal i think, so i am strongly considering ucsd against uci and ucsb.

political science @ ERC

My options are accounting at UIUC or economics at UCSD so far but I am still waiting to hear back from NYU, UVA, UCLA, and UCB. I am not sure where I am going yet.

mylife: i guess ucsd would be a better choose over uci not sure about ucsb program.

myself it is between ucsb,uci,ucr.

On behalf of the faculty, staff and students of the University of California, San Diego, I congratulate you on your admission to Revelle College as a major in Mathematics (Applied)! UCSD is one of the nation's most outstanding universities, and we look forward to welcoming you to our campus

finally. but i don't care about UCSD any more.

Dear Nate,

On behalf of the faculty, staff and students of the University of California, San Diego, I congratulate you on your admission to Thurgood Marshall College as a major in Electrical Engineering! UCSD is one of the nation's most outstanding universities, and we look forward to welcoming you to our campus.

I'm really bummed out because I just checked my financial aid package, and my award is $0, so I won't be able to go. It feels great to get accepted but sad to not get any money, so it feels bittersweet. :(

goth, see you next year!!!!!!!!!!

In.....Sixth, for Chemical Engineering.....but...SD is a lil tooo late....LA's faster than SD.....

congrats everyone...i still dont get it why they put engineering at the end...kinda look down at us?? hahaha jk jk

We have carefully reviewed your records; unfortunately the self-reported academic information indicates that you are not academically eligible for admission at this time. Please review your letter and checklist for further clarification.

Oww that hurt.

Thats the problem trying toapply as different majors at different schools. You tend to get screwed. So far Davis and SD have rejected me because I didn't take a CIS class. UGH.

Niggit42, so what schools have you got accepted to so far?

UCSD-ACCEPTED
Major: Communications
School: Muir

3.9ish EE major, good ECs, and got rejected???

But I got into LA, and waiting on Berkeley.

I dont even care, because I wasnt planning on going to SD, but I still want to know why they rejected me.

If you call them you can talk to an admissions officer that will go over your file with you.

I just got off the phone, and just as I suspected, the reason I was denied admission is because I was competing as an out-of-state applicant. You need 2 terms and 30 units at a CCC to qualify as an in-state transfer, and I am on my second term now, but way under 30 units. I was kind of in a catch-22 anyway, since if I completed the 30 required units, it would have pushed over the maximum amount of units allowed for an upper division transfer (I had completed 70 semester units before I started attending classes at a CCC). From their website: "Students with credit from 4-year institutions may not exceed 90 transferable semester units prior to enrollment." Heh, sort of damned if I do, damned if I don't. It's still ok though, I am really looking forward to going to SDSU. :)
