Just wondering if anybody here has done it,if it's worth it or not, and some general info

It’s not that big of a deal on college apps; it’s like a summer camp abroad. However, the people who I know that did it had a good time and made some new friends. It really depends on what you want from the program.

In terms of a good time, my friend went and said it was one of the best experiences of her life.

However, it’s more of a “teen travel” program, so it isn’t that stellar-looking on college apps. A volunteer abroad program would look better.

But at the meeting, the presentation said that 90% of students who mentioned their involvement in the program in their college apps got their first choice for college acceptances…doea this mean anything???

Not really, Southern Indiana might be someone’s first choice

It’s pretty much just like a vacation for teens. You make a lot of friends and it’s a lot of fun but for college admissions, it doesn’t really count for much. Keep in mind that it’s a really expensive program and students who get into their first-choice college might not get in because of P2P but maybe because they’re from well-off families.
