If you are asking if one must pay to go on one of the ambassador trips, then the answer is yes.

ill pass on this. thanks

Had a friend go on it. He enjoyed it....but payed wayyyyyyy too much.

It feels like a scam.

I get invitations to the people to people trips every year. I went to the information session a few years ago. Its really expensive. Well I guess depending our you financial status it may not be really expensive. My cousin went this summer and had a blast. I'm traveling to england and ireland next summer with a different program. It cost my parents a little over a thousand dollas less.

I went on the European Discovery Trip in July. It was $5,000 which was a good price considering all the activities we did. If you have the chance I would definately reccomend going.

I went on the European Odyssey People to People trip last summer and I would highly recommend it. I got to spend 3 weeks touring around England, France, Italy, and Greece. There are several scholarships that can help offset the approximately $5,000 cost. Also, as Caro said, the cost is definitely not inflated; it all goes directly into your activities, hotels, restaurants, and travel expenses. For example, we had approximately 50 Pound (then about $100) seats at a well-known musical in London one night, and that wan only one of the many things we did that day. The only thing that I didn't like was that the trip turned out to be a bit more "touristy" than I had hoped. However, we did get to have some great interaction with the locals of places we went, particularly during our three-day-long homestay in France. I would highly recommend that you participate in the People to People program if you have the chance. If anyone has any further questions they can feel free to PM me
