people travelling to other states to take the ACT?

<p>this may seem like a really pointless post, but i need to rant right now</p>

<p>why exactly was the ACT cancelled in NY? is anyone else from NY travelling to another state to take the exam?! i have to go to NJ .. ugh</p>

<p>How far is NJ from NY?</p>

<p>The place where I have to take the ACT is in another country and is smth like 800km from my home :( I don't think you'll be travelling more than me.. So stop crying ;)</p>

<p>It wasn't "cancelled". The ACT hasn't been given in New York in February in (at least) many years. It has to do with state legislation.</p>

<p>I have to travel 35 minutes instead of the usual 5 haha</p>

<p>my girlfriend is going to philly to take them tomorrow however her sister goes to college in the area so shes visiting her, so its not that bad.</p>

<p>i went to indiana in sept to take them. it was like 30 mins, rather then the usual 3 mins? mich, my state, doesn't offer sept ACTs</p>

<p>haha sorry dimitar - i didnt travel as much as you ... it was more of a 45 minute drive .......
but right now i dont care about distances, I JUST WANT ACT TO POST MY SCORE -- im going to check anxiously tomorrow</p>
